How to Find Which Mutual Funds Hold a Stock (via API)
Mutual funds in India disclose their full portfolio holdings every month. BharatStock compiles those disclosures so you can look up, for any listed stock, exactly which schemes hold it and how their positions change month over month.
Per-stock holdings
Call GET /v1/stocks/{ticker}/mf-holdings to get every scheme holding that stock, each with the quantity held, market value, percentage of the scheme's AUM, and the month-over-month change. The data is built from AMFI plus the fund houses' own monthly disclosures across 40+ first-party AMCs — see the coverage page for the full list.
The inverse: a scheme's portfolio
Going the other way, GET /v1/mf/portfolios/{scheme_name}/holdings returns everything a given scheme holds. And GET /v1/mf/schemes plus the per-scheme NAV and returns endpoints give you the industry-wide scheme universe with daily NAVs sourced from AMFI.
What's included (and what isn't)
Per scheme you get identity (name, AMC, plan, option, ISINs), category, daily NAV and full NAV history, trailing returns, and the monthly stock-level holdings. Fund manager, expense ratio, benchmark, and riskometer are not currently provided — those live in scheme documents we don't ingest.
