How to Get Indian Stock Prices via API (NSE & BSE EOD)

Updated 2026-10-18

End-of-day price history for every NSE and BSE listed stock is available as clean JSON — open, high, low, close, and volume per trading day, plus split/bonus-adjusted closes for a continuous series.

The endpoint

Call GET /v1/stocks/{ticker}/prices with your key in the X-API-Key header, and bound the range with from and to (ISO YYYY-MM-DD dates). For example:

curl "https://bharatstockapi.com/v1/stocks/RELIANCE/prices?from=2024-01-01" -H "X-API-Key: bsk_live_..."

Fields in each row

Each daily row carries trade_date, open, high, low, close, and volume, plus adjusted_close and adjustment_factor. The raw close is always the as-traded exchange price; use adjusted_close when you need a series that stays continuous across stock splits and bonus issues.

Only trading days have rows

There are no rows for weekends, exchange holidays, or days a stock didn't trade — a gap on a single date is almost always a market holiday, not a missing record. Volume is reported raw (not split/bonus adjusted), so adjust it yourself with the corporate-actions endpoint if you need share-count-consistent volume.

Next steps

See the prices endpoint docs for the full parameter list, or browse any company's latest price on its stock page.
