How to Track Bulk Deals, Block Deals & Insider Trades via API

Updated 2026-10-18

Large and insider trades often move stocks. Bulk deals, block deals, and SEBI insider/promoter (PIT) disclosures are all reported to the exchanges — and all available as JSON, both per-ticker and market-wide.

Per-stock

For one company, call GET /v1/stocks/{ticker}/bulk-deals, /block-deals, or /insider-trades. Each returns the dated trades for that stock — the counterparty/client, quantity, and price for deals, and the acquirer, transaction type, and quantity for insider disclosures.

Market-wide

To scan the whole market, use GET /v1/deals/bulk, /v1/deals/block, and /v1/insider-trades — the same feeds without a ticker filter, so you can watch every reported deal across NSE and BSE in one call and spot where the smart money is active.

Freshness

These are end-of-day feeds, ingested after market close each trading day — not a live tick stream. See the deals reference for the full response shape and the status page for pipeline freshness.
