How to Get NSE Quarterly Results via API

Updated 2026-10-18

Quarterly and annual results for Indian listed companies are published by the exchanges as structured XBRL filings. Instead of scraping NSE's results portal, you can pull the same figures as clean JSON from the BharatStock API.

The endpoint

Call GET /v1/stocks/{ticker}/financials with your API key in the X-API-Key header. For example, to get TCS results:

curl https://bharatstockapi.com/v1/stocks/TCS/financials -H "X-API-Key: bsk_live_..."

Use the period_type query parameter to choose quarterly or annual, and from/to to bound the range. Each row carries revenue, net profit, EPS, operating profit, and the balance-sheet and cash-flow line items where the company filed them.

Consolidation basis matters

Every row is labelled with its consolidation_type (consolidated or standalone) and period_end_date. When you compute growth or a trailing-twelve-month figure, compare rows on the same basis — mixing consolidated and standalone periods fabricates swings that aren't real.

Numbers are as-filed

Figures are served exactly as the company filed them with the exchange, in absolute rupees (a revenue of ₹10 crore is 100000000, not 10). If a number differs from a third-party aggregator, the as-filed value carrying its source and consolidation_type is usually the correct one — aggregators often mix bases or apply their own adjustments.
